Overview

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is located in downtown Baltimore at 333 West Camden Street. Camden Yards was opened in 1992, and has been the home of the MLB's Baltimore Orioles ever since. Camden Yards was built as the first 'retro' ballpark design of the 90's, and has a capacity of 45,971 (48,187 including SRO) for Orioles games.

Club Level

The Club Level seats at Camden Yards are located in in the 200 sections (204-288). Club Level seats do not include food and drink, but they do allow access the Club concourse which has different food options than other levels. You do however get waiter service if you do not want to leave your seats. The seats in sections 282-288 DO include food and drink (non-alcoholic) with the price of admission.

Partially Obstructed Seats

Many Orioles fans will say there isn't a bad seat in the house, but there are definitely certain tickets you want to stay away from. The Upper Deck in Left Field is a section you want to avoid if you are sitting in the higher rows. In those rows the left fielder will run out of your sight if he runs to warning track to catch a ball.

Field Level Seating

The Field Level Seats for the Orioles Seating Chart are located in sections 4-98 (even numbers), which wrap around the entire stadium. If you are looking to sit in the shade at Camden Yards, you will want to sit in the second set of field sections, known as the lower reserve (odd numbered 1-87). These sections offer shade seats for the Orioles games, and although you can't track all the high pop ups or foul balls, it may be worth getting out of the sun for those hot day games when you bring out the kids. These seats also protect from rain at Camden Yards. Note: if you sit in one of the last rows you may not be able to see the Jumbotron, and the park tries to compensate for this by providing small monitors that hang from the ceiling.

Dugouts and Bullpens

The Orioles Dugout is located in front of sections 22-26, and the visitors dugout is located in front of sections 48-52. Both the Orioles and the visiting teams dugout are located to the left of section 86.

Seat Numbers

The Seat Numbers for the Orioles Seating Chart follows the standard sports stadium pattern, where seat number one is always closest to the lowered number section. In the case of Camden Yards, seat number 1 will always be on the right side of a section, since the section numbers are highest in left field, and move in descending order around the stadium into right field. For example, seat 1 in section 38 will be closest to the highest seat number in section 36.

Best Seats

The Best seats for an Orioles game are either behind home plate in sections 28-48, behind the Orioles dugout in sections 22-26, or in the Club Level sections along the first and third baselines. Many Orioles fans will say there is not a bad seat in the house, but these sections will provide the best view for a Baltimore Orioles game.

Field Dimensions

Oriole Park at Camden Yards has the following dimensions (measurements from home plate): 333ft to Left-Field, 364ft to Left-Center, 410ft to Center, 373ft to Right-Center (400ft deepest), and 318ft to Right. Home plate is positioned 45ft from the backstop.

Bleacher Seats

The Eutaw Bleacher Seats at Camden Yards offer pleasantly surprising views for the price. Seats in section 98 will still have a view of the Jumbotron, while it is difficult to see in the other bleacher sections. Like all ballpark bleacher sections, you will find the rowdiest fans here. On hot summer days you will feel like your roasting in the bleacher seats, so that is something you should consider.
