The Philadelphia Union is an American professional soccer club that makes up one of the 25 soccer teams in the US. The soccer club is one of five major league sports teams that call Philadelphia home. Though they were founded in 2008, the Philadelphia Union began playing as an expansion team in Major League Soccer in 2010. The Union competes within the Eastern Conference.
